Kim Alards has a PhD in Physics and several years of R&D experience in inkjet printing.

I am part of the Lake3D R&D team and together we develop this ground-breaking technology and strive for high quality applications. I love to create overview in a complex technological environment and I enjoy presenting our innovative technology to the outside world. Junior software engineer
Aimeric Clément is a software engineer who focuses on algorithms that bring known 2D image-processing methods to the 3D space.
“I’ve always enjoyed programming things that can be touched or felt; things that are visual and relevant to humanity. I used to work on mechanical simulations where the interplay of push and pull forces forms an elegant geometry and I loved it. Today I am even more fulfilled by tackling the challenges of composite 3D printing together with the rest of the team.”

Petra Doelman has an MBA and brings in many years of start-up experience in different industries, focussing on strategy and fund raising.
“I have been involved in many start-ups and immediately recognized the disruptive potential of multimaterial jetting in the dental market. My ambition is to bring new and sustainable products to market that improve the life of people. It is highly motivating to be part of a great team and jointly turn ideas into reality!”
Rachelle Groot has a background in physics and focuses on the workflow as well as the print process.
“My adventure at Lake3D started with a part-time student job, and it quickly felt like I joined a family. This is one of the reasons why I decided to stay. The combination of creativity and technology is what keeps my job interesting and I am excited to be part of the next step in multi-material jetting!”
Felicia Ionascu is a seasoned software architect with expertise in application and workflow software for 2D and 3D inkjet printers.
“My job within Lake3D is to create the software workflow for multimaterial printing, fit to the application. That’s a challenging but highly motivating task! My passion for innovation is completely fulfilled with Lake3D, as there are always interesting problems to be solved. But with the right team, nothing is impossible!”
Filip Kafka is a software engineer with electrical engineering background. He specializes in fast algorithms and work in low-level programming languages, which are necessary when working with 3D objects.
“I always liked computers, mathematics and physics. In Lake3D, these disciplines merge into one, creating a project that has the potential to move the market. In Lake3D, space is given to ideas and thoughts which creates a unique work place for people not looking for a job, but a hobby.”

Jessica Pepe is a material scientists with a focus on material process interaction.
“I have always been passionate about materials and driven by passion for innovation. 3D printing is the technological progress the world is waiting for and multi-material jetting is the perfect means to it. My aspiration is to follow unexplored and complex paths and make possible what is thought to be impossible!”
Keita Špēla is a mechanical engineer working on the mechanical characterization of the products being developed at Lake3D.

Joost Anne Veerman has a PhD in Physics and is an expert in inkjet process development and printers for industrial applications.

I know that designing a reliable material jetting printer is quite challenging already, but it’s even more difficult to actually design the right one. Klaas Wiertzema is a psychologist with a strong entrepreneurial background in software development and complex sales processes.
